Are you or your rising 6th grader feeling anxious about going to middle school in the fall? This summer, Harmony Psychological Services and Kidder Educational Consulting are partnering up to co-lead a Summer Middle School Prep Program, where we will help your child build executive functioning skills, social-emotional skills, and self-advocacy, as well as learn how to navigate middle school expectations.​ With combined decades of first-hand experience in the schools, we will provide your child with the tools to feel supported, prepared, and confident before middle school starts! Summer Middle School Preparation Program Details
Who can enroll: Any rising 6th grader
Format: Small group, in-person
Instructors: Dr. Sharon Huang, Licensed Psychologist and Joanna Kidder, Certified Special Education Teacher
Dates: Monday, August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Location: Harmony Wellness Center at 11325 Seven Locks Road, Suite 260, Potomac, MD
Cost: $300 for both days
