Insurance and Fees

Insurance

Harmony Psychological Services is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance. We strive to provide the best care to our clients and do not believe that a third party should dictate a client's mental health needs. We will provide a superbill that provides all the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company for information about out-of-network reimbursement for mental health services prior to scheduling an appointment. â€‹â€‹

60-minute initial intake session (new clients) - $260

45-minute individual therapy session - $225

 50-minute family therapy session - $240

60-minute educational consultation/collaboration or parent consultation session - $260

Please provide payment in full at the time of each appointment. Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted forms of payment.

​​Cancellation, Late Arrivals, No-Show, and Rescheduling Policy

Please contact Harmony Psychological Services to cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. If the appointment is not canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, the client will be responsible for paying the full cost of the session. Please contact us as soon as possible if you will be late. Please note that your session will be shortened by the amount of time that you are late and will still end on time, and you are still responsible for the full cost of the session. If you are more than 15 minutes late and have not contacted us ahead of time, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the session and we will have to reschedule your appointment. The same policy applies to no-shows: if you do not show up to a session without any attempts to contact us ahead of time, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the session.

Inclement Weather Policy

We strive to continue normal operations while prioritizing safety for our clients and their families. In case of inclement weather, we will contact you in the morning if our office is closed, so if you have not been contacted, please assume that we are open. We will also post updates on our homepage and social media (Facebook and Instagram). If our office is closed, we will contact you as soon as possible about alternative arrangements, which could be switching to a telehealth session or rescheduling your appointment. You will not be charged a cancellation fee. If our office is open but you do not feel safe traveling to your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make alternative arrangements. You will not be charged a cancellation fee. If you do not show up to your appointment when our office is open and have not made an attempt to contact us, then you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the session.​​

 

Questions to Ask Your Insurance​​​​

Here are some questions you may wish to ask your insurance: 1) What are my out-of-network benefits for visiting a licensed psychologist for outpatient care? 2) Which CPT codes require pre-authorization? Applicable codes include 90791 (initial diagnostic evaluation), 90834 (45-minute psychotherapy with client), 90846 (family psychotherapy without client present, 50 minutes), 90847 (family psychotherapy with client present, 50 minutes), and 90887 (consultation). 3) What is my deductible for mental health services? 4) What is the amount of coverage for each therapy session? 5) How many therapy sessions per year does my insurance cover?
